Very well done! I too grew up listening to Spooner lore, from my grandfather Arthur. Son of William, son of Charles, son of Gideon, son of John, John, John, John, William. * Most importantly, I remember seeing microfiche copies of William's indenture. It had multiple 'indentees' on it, with all the plantation leaders signatures on it. (Standish, Alden, Bradford) My grandfather told me my uncle had them photo-copied in Plymouth. Perhaps our Plymouth relations could tell us where, or post them. If they haven't already. I would like to see them again. Thank you.

My maternal grandmother, Martha Josephine Bladwin Smith, was the daughter of Caroline Eliza Blood Baldwin(3/9/1856-4/9/1918). She was the child of George Lysander Blood(7/31/1817-8/13/1869). I have a photo of George Lysander Blood; I do not know when it was taken. If you would like a copy, I will be happy to send one to you. My mother was very interested in her family roots - I have some books, notes, charts that may help you. I hope to have more family photos after my sisters and I go through our mother's photos. I am novice at this so this information may or may not be of use to you. Anyway, I thought I would send you this email.Anne T. Tang

I am one of the Spooner generations and spent all my working life in the roofing industry and I did indeed fix roofing shingles, as did my Father, all my uncles and my Grandfather, I am now retired and the roofing line is now at an end. My family originated from Derby in England where there are still a lot of Spooners living.

I am a descendant of Zoath Spooner (b.before 1763, prob. at Dartmouth, Mass.) who fought in the American Revolution. My mother believes that he is a descendant of William Spooner(born 1 Jan 1621/1622 in Leiden, Holland, died 8 Mar 1683/1684 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts). How do I find the missing generations? I am brand new at this and have never done any genealogy research.

I see we have several common lines... I am so excited to find your site... I will have to dig in my FTM and copy where we have common lines... In the mean-time... My mom is a WING and was once engaged to a HARPER SPOONER... whom she met in Lincoln, MA ca 1950's... do you have any information on Harper Spooner? He'd have been born in the early 1930's...probaly 1932 or33...

I will get back to you PM on our connecting lines... WING, SPOONER, WITTER, GREENE, SWIFT, NEWHaLL and all.
