PEREZ TILSON6, (John5, John4, Edmund3, Ephraim2, Edmond1) son of John and Mercy (Sturtevant) Tilson; b. March 14, 1765; m. Feb. 23, 1797, Melinda Fales of Thomaston, Me. She d. (???). In May, 1795, Perez Tilson of Halifax, Mass., went to Thomaston, Me., and settled on a farm. He was one of the founders of the Congregational Church in 1809; became deacon in 1818.
